Here Comes the Fall!!!

As much as we hate to admit it, summer is winding down! As you enjoy these final days of summer, remember to prepare for fall! Connecticut's crisp fall evenings are perfect for outdoor activities like grilling, roasting marshmallows, or curling up beside your outdoor fire with a cozy blanket and a warm drink.

Here's a favorite recipe for a toasty-fall Hot Toddy from Cookie and Kate!

• ¾ cup water
• 1 ½ ounces whiskey
• 2 to 3 teaspoons honey, to taste
• 2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice, to taste
• 1 lemon round
• 1 cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)
